This is not another writing forum where stories sink after a day. Every account you publish here is judged by a reader jury: True, Fake or Not sure. Readers guess before they read, argue in cross-examination comments, watch the polygraph needle move, and come back to see whether the verdict flipped. A story that would get three upvotes elsewhere gets a trial here — and the verdict is a scoreboard, not a review of you.

Don't take our word for it — walk the shelves first. Stories with a YouTube video attached get their own archive, and so do stories with pictures (our team can generate AI illustrations on your request for your story). Multi-part cases live on the Series index, and every case that got an approved "UPDATE from the author" resurfaces on Updated stories — two of the easiest ways to bring readers back to your byline.

Your stories also plug into the site's reference layer: the Phenomena library and the Glossary cross-link to matching cases, the Top stories and Jury is out charts surface the winners and the cliff-hangers, readers ask for topics on the request feed, and the whole archive is summed up in numbers on Statistics. The more hooks your story has — media, series, updates — the more of these doors it appears behind. Add the evergreen showcases — the monthly digests on Best stories, the weekly deep-dives on Case Files and the shareable excerpts on Case Reports — and an approved story never stops collecting doors.

We worked long and hard to make writing and reading here simple, comfortable and worth coming back to. We collected the features authors most often BEG for on writing forums and in social communities — and built an unusually large share of them, with years of story-site experience poured in. We hope you'll like it here and make it your home shelf.

An honesty note. The archive we opened with was written with AI assistance — a library cannot open empty — and every one of those stories says so on its own page. What we accept from authors is one line: the writing has to be yours. Human moderation checks for exactly that. Polishing your own text (grammar, typos) is fine; text generated by AI is declined. Every submission is also screened automatically for machine-written prose, and anything that scores high goes to a human moderator rather than through — so a submission written for you by a chatbot simply costs you time.
