Case Reports: Mystery Stories, Filed and Judged

Every story on file, as a clean police-style excerpt you can read in a minute and share anywhere. Each report links on to the full story and its reader jury.

A case report is a story told the way a file is written: what happened, when, who else was in the room, and what the person still cannot explain. Some of these are ordinary mystery stories with an ordinary ending. Some are not.

What counts as a case report

Every report here is a first-person account — eyewitness accounts of things the author swears took place. True paranormal stories sit next to workplace absurdities and things that turned out to have a very boring explanation, and nothing is labelled in advance.

The reader jury does the labelling. Each report carries its verdict: true, fake, or still undecided. You can read the file first and vote before you scroll to what everyone else thought.
