Swear It Happened is an archive of first-person scary stories, told by the people who swear they lived through them — and judged by everyone else. Every account is published exactly as it was sent in, and under each one the readers cast their verdict: true, fake, or not sure. The podcast takes those same stories off the page and reads them aloud.
Each episode runs around twenty minutes. Some gather several short accounts — a handful of strange nights, close calls and things half-seen in the dark — while a long story that needs room gets an episode of its own, told in full from the first line to the last. Episodes are narrated with a synthetic voice, kept calm and unhurried, like a late-night radio host who long ago learned not to comment on what he reads. The words themselves are always the author's own.
Listening is only half of it.
