Thin Places

Thin places are the Celtic idea of locations where the distance between worlds narrows — islands, wells, summits, later churches built deliberately on all three. Pilgrims use the term devotionally; paranormal writers use it for anywhere reports cluster. That clustering is the interesting part for this archive: the same farm gate, the same stretch of shore, filed about by strangers decades apart. Expectation spreads through local talk, skeptics note correctly. Then a newcomer who has heard nothing files the same gate.
